During the 2016 April-May period, the network of local and regional governments for fair, democratic and sustainable cities has grown with the incorporation of new members and partners, mainly from Africa.
The new CSIPDHR’s regional governments are the Departmental Council of Gossas (Senegal) and the Regional Council of Arta (Djibouti).
The new partner organizations are the Institute of Alphabetisation for Peace and Development (Institut d'Alphabétisation pour la Paix et le Développement, Conakry), Carbonne Guinée (Ratoma, Guinée), ActionAid India and Congo Lawyers for Environment (Juristes pour l’environnement au Congo, Kinshasa).
