Join the Conversation at the Committee on the Status of Women

The United Nations will celebrate the 57th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) on 4-15 March 2013 in New York.

CSW is the principal UN global policy-making body dedicated exclusively to gender equality and advancement of women. The priority theme will be: "Elimination and prevention of all forms of violence against women and girls".

UN Women is involving key stakeholders, such as local governments representatives and policy makers, in its preparation through a two-week online discussion from 23 July to 3 August.

Outcomes will be used by UN Women to inform the UN Secretary General’s reports for CSW 57 and will be publish on line.
We encourage you to take part in the consultation and contribute with the perspective of local government.
